Before using your Moka Induction for the first time, it is essential to clean it thoroughly. Disassemble all parts and rinse each component with plain water. Do not use any detergents or place the unit in a dishwasher, as this can damage the product and negatively affect the taste of your coffee.

First Brew Cycles

To season the Moka pot and remove any residual manufacturing odors, perform 2-3 brewing cycles using only water, without coffee. Discard the water after each cycle. This process helps to ensure optimal coffee flavor from your first actual brew.

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity of your Moka pot and the best coffee flavor.

  • After each use, allow the Moka pot to cool completely.
  • Disassemble all parts: upper chamber, filter plate, gasket, filter funnel, and lower boiler.

  • Important: Do not use detergents, abrasive materials, or steel wool, as these can damage the aluminum and stainless steel surfaces and affect coffee taste.
