4.2 Sump Basin Kondisyon

The pump requires a minimum 18-inch diameter sump basin for proper operation of the tethered float switch.

4.3 Discharge Pipe Connection

1. Connect a 1-1/2 inch FNPT discharge pipe to the pump's outlet. Use thread tape on the pipe threads to ensure a watertight seal.
2. Install a check valve in the discharge line to prevent water from flowing back into the sump basin when the pump turns off.
3. Route the discharge pipe away from the foundation to prevent water recirculation.

2. Plug the pump's 8.25 ft. power cord into a properly grounded 3-prong GFCI outlet. Do not use extension cords.

When water in the sump basin rises and lifts the float to the 'ON' position, the pump will activate and begin discharging water.
