Insert a fully charged 1050mAh battery into the battery compartment. To charge the battery, connect the camera to a USB power source using the provided USB cable, or use the external battery charger with the spare battery.

Insert a Class 10 or higher MicroSD card (up to 64GB, not included) into the MicroSD card slot with the contacts facing the correct direction. Format the card in the camera's settings menu before first use.
