The Kair Smart Extractor Fan can be mounted on walls, ceilings, or windows. Specific accessories may be required for certain mounting types (sold separately). Refer to the wiring diagram provided with the product for electrical connections.

4.2. Initial Setup and Settings Adjustment
The fan features a magnetic front cover for easy access to settings. During initial installation, the safety feature that stops the impeller when the cover is removed is disabled for the first 60 minutes of operation to aid setup.

To adjust settings, carefully remove the magnetic front cover. The display and control buttons will be accessible. Ensure the fan is powered off at the mains before removing the cover for safety, unless within the initial 60-minute installation window.
4.3. Cable Entry and Usage Examples
The fan's design typically features cable entry points at the top left of the center for through-wall installations and top center for surface mounting. Plan your wiring accordingly.

5. Operasyon Enstriksyon
The Kair Smart Extractor Fan offers various operating modes to suit your ventilation needs.
5.1. Speed Options
- Off: Fanatik pa mache.
- Trickle (Constant Flow): Default operation for continuous low-level air extraction. This maintains a baseline air exchange.
- Comfort Boost (Automatic): Activated by the humidity sensor or a run-on timer. The fan increases speed when high humidity is detected.
- Boost (Manual): Activated by the pullcord or a switched live connection. Provides immediate high-speed extraction.
5.2. Humidity Sensor Operation
The integrated humidistat intelligently responds to increases in ambient humidity. When a significant rise in humidity is detected (e.g., during a shower), the fan will automatically switch to Comfort Boost mode to rapidly reduce moisture levels. The fan will return to trickle mode once humidity levels normalize. The blue light indicator on the fan will illuminate when the fan is running on boost due to the humidity sensor or switched live.

The timer function allows you to set how long the fan continues to operate in boost mode after the activating condition (e.g., light switch off, humidity drop) has ceased. This is particularly useful for ensuring adequate ventilation after activities like showering or cooking.
5.4. Pullcord Activation
The pullcord provides a manual override to activate the fan's boost mode. Pull the cord to initiate high-speed extraction. Ensure the blue light is off before replacing the cover if you have adjusted the pullcord position during installation.
