5. Operasyon Enstriksyon

The OSTENT SIMCOM SIM7600E modem is primarily operated through AT commands sent via its COM (serial / RS232) port. Users will need to utilize a terminal program or custom software to send these commands.

5.1. Etabli Kominikasyon

  1. Ensure the modem is properly connected and powered on.
  2. Open your preferred serial communication software (e.g., PuTTY, Tera Term, or a custom application).
  3. Configure the serial port settings to match the modem's requirements (e.g., baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits). Refer to the SIMCOM SIM7600E module documentation for specific settings.
  4. Send a basic AT command, such as AT, to verify communication. The modem should respond with OK.

5.2. Sending SMS and MMS

The modem supports sending and receiving SMS and MMS messages. Specific AT commands are used for these functions. Consult the SIMCOM SIM7600E AT Command Manual for detailed instructions on composing and sending messages.

  • SMS Egzample: To send a text message, you might use commands like AT+CMGF=1 (set text mode) followed by AT+CMGS="<phone_number>" and then the message content.
  • MMS: MMS functionality involves more complex AT commands for setting up bearer services, content encoding, and sending.

5.3. TCP/IP Communication

The modem supports TCP/IP protocols, allowing for internet connectivity and data transfer. This involves commands for GPRS/LTE context activation, establishing TCP/UDP connections, and sending/receiving data.

  • GPRS/LTE Activation: Commands like AT+CGACT or AT+CGSOCKCONT are used to activate the packet data context.
  • Socket Commands: Use commands such as AT+CSOCON to establish TCP/UDP connections.

6. Antretyen

  • Netwayaj: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the modem's exterior. Avoid liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Anviwònman: Operate the modem within its specified temperature and humidity ranges. Avoid extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, and high moisture environments.
  • Koneksyon: Periodically check all cable connections (power, data, antenna) to ensure they are secure.
  • Firmware: Keep the modem's firmware updated if new versions are released by the manufacturer. Consult the SIMCOM documentation or OSTENT support for firmware update procedures.

NAN. Depanaj
