3.1. Location and Sump Requirements
Install the pump in a sump pit that is adequately sized for the expected flow rate and pump dimensions. Ensure the pit is clean and free of debris before placing the pump.

3.4. Float Switch Adjustment
The pump is equipped with a mechanical float switch for automatic operation. The float switch is pre-set with an "On" point at approximately 12 inches and an "Off" point at approximately 4 inches. Ensure the float switch can move freely without obstruction within the sump pit.

Once properly installed and connected to power, the pump will activate when the water level rises to the "On" point (approximately 12 inches) and will continue to pump until the water level drops to the "Off" point (approximately 4 inches).
