The sensor detects lightning strikes within a 25-mile (40-kilometer) radius. When lightning is detected, the Lightning Strike Indicator will flash, and an audible alarm will sound. The sensor transmits data every 24 seconds under normal conditions, and every 8 seconds once lightning is detected.

• Sensor Not Connecting: If the sensor does not connect to your AcuRite display, try resetting both units. Remove batteries from both, wait a few minutes, then reinsert batteries into the sensor first, followed by the display unit.
