Enstalasyon ak Enstalasyon
- Pwizon Basin Preparasyon: Ensure the sump basin is clean and free of debris. The basin should be at least 14 inches in diameter for proper operation of the tethered float switch.
- Pozisyonman Ponp lan: Place the pump on a solid, level surface at the bottom of the sump basin. The pump's base is designed to keep the intake raised off the pit floor, reducing debris ingestion.
- Tiyo dechaj: Connect a 1-1/2 inch NPT discharge pipe to the pump's outlet. Use rigid PVC pipe for best results. Install a check valve in the discharge line to prevent water from flowing back into the sump basin lè ponp lan fèmen.

Enstriksyon Operasyon
The Flotec FPZS50T pump can operate in two modes: automatic or manual.
- Operasyon otomatik: When the pump is connected via its piggy-back float switch, it will automatically activate when the water level rises, lifting the float switch. The pump will continue to run until the water level drops and the float switch returns to its off position.
- Operasyon manyèl: To operate the pump manually, bypass the float switch by plugging the pump's power cord directly into a grounded electrical outlet. The pump will run continuously until unplugged. Use manual operation for specific tasks like emptying a pool or utility pumping, but do not leave unattended to prevent dry running.
CAUTION: Do not allow the pump to run dry for extended periods, as this can cause damage to the motor and seals.
