The iStorage datAshur Personal is a PIN authenticated, hardware encrypted USB 3.0 flash drive designed to secure your data. This manual provides instructions for its setup, operation, and maintenance. Key features include 256-bit AES hardware encryption (CBC mode) and PIN access, ensuring robust data protection.

Enstalasyon

Initial Setup and Admin PIN Creation

• Chaje aparèy la: Before initial use, ensure the datAshur Personal is charged by connecting it to a powered USB port for approximately 30-60 minutes. The red LED will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

Unlocking the Drive for First Use

• Connect the drive to a USB port.
• Peze a KLE button. The red and green LEDs will flash alternately.
• Enter your Admin PIN.
• Peze a KLE button. A solid green LED indicates the drive is unlocked and ready for use. The drive will appear as a removable storage device on your computer.

The iStorage datAshur Personal features a 10-digit keypad for PIN entry and LED indicators for status.

The USB connector is revealed by removing the protective cap. LED indicators show the drive's status, such as locked or unlocked.

Connecting and Accessing Data

• Unlock the drive using your PIN as described in the Setup section.
• Once the green LED is solid, insert the drive into a USB port on your computer or compatible device.
• The drive will be recognized as a standard USB storage device.

• To lock the drive, safely eject it from your operating system.
• Once ejected, press the KLE button. The red LED will illuminate, indicating the drive is locked.

The datAshur Personal can be connected to various devices, including smartphones, using appropriate adapters.
