The Zoom H6 is an advanced portable recorder designed for high-quality audio capture. It features a system of interchangeable input capsules, allowing for versatile microphone configurations. 2.4. Connecting External Microphones/Line Inputs

The H6 features four XLR/TRS combo inputs for external microphones or line-level devices.

1. Connect your XLR or TRS cables to the corresponding inputs (1-4) on the side of the H6.
2. If using condenser microphones requiring phantom power, enable it in the device settings (see Section 3.2).

3.1. Powering On / Off

To power on the H6, press and hold the power button located on the side until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button until the shutdown prompt appears, then confirm.

3.2. Adjusting Input Levels and Phantom Power

Each input (1-4 and the attached capsule) has a dedicated gain knob. Use these to set appropriate recording levels.
