The JCR-310 supports CD-R/RW discs.

Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the AUX IN jack on the unit using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included). Press the POUVWA/STANDBY button repeatedly to select AUX mode. The JCR-310 features dual alarms (AL1 and AL2). The unit operates in two main modes: Revèy Mode (when the unit is off, displaying time) and Mòd odyo (when the unit is on, playing radio, CD, or AUX). Some buttons perform different functions depending on the active mode.

1. Preparing for CD/Radio Alarm:
   • If you intend to wake to CD, first switch the unit to CD mode (Audio Mode), load your desired CD, and set the playback volume to a comfortable level.
   • If you intend to wake to Radio, first switch the unit to Radio mode (Audio Mode), tune to your desired station, and set the playback volume to a comfortable level.
   • Once prepared, turn the unit off (return to Clock Mode) before setting the alarm.

3. Selecting Alarm Source (Wake to CD/Radio/Buzzer):
   • After confirming the alarm time, press the ALAM 1/2 button repeatedly to cycle through the wake modes: Buzzer (B), Radio (R), or CD (C). The selected mode will be indicated on the display (e.g., AL1-B, AL1-R, AL1-C).
4. Aktive / Dezaktive Alam: Peze a ALAM 1 or ALAM 2 button briefly (do not hold) to toggle the alarm on or off. The alarm indicator (AL1 or AL2) will appear/disappear on the display.
