Thank you for choosing the Powell Heavy Metal Full-Over-Full Bunk Bed. This manual provides essential information for the safe assembly, operation, and maintenance of your new bunk bed. Please read all instructions carefully before beginning assembly and retain this manual for future reference.

WARNING: TO HELP PREVENT SERIOUS OR FATAL INJURIES FROM ENTRAPMENT OR FALLS:

  • Follow the information on the warnings appearing on the upper bunk end structure and on the carton. Do not remove warning labels from the bed.
  • Never allow a child under 6 years old on the upper bunk.

4. Enstriksyon Asanble

Assembly requires two adults. Please follow the steps below carefully. Refer to the diagrams for visual guidance.

  1. Step 1: Assemble the Lower Bed Frame

    Attach the lower panels (B) to the lower bed frame (C) using the provided bolts (L), washers (K), and nuts (J). Tighten with the Allen wrench (M). Ensure all connections are secure.

  2. Step 2: Attach Connection Posts to Lower Bed

    Insert the connection posts (G) into the top of the lower bed frame's corner posts. These posts will connect the upper bunk.

  3. Step 3: Prepare Upper Panels

    Place the upper panels (A) onto the connection posts (G) from Step 2. These form the headboard and footboard for the upper bunk.

  4. Step 4: Attach Upper Bed Frame

    Carefully lift and place the upper bed frame (D) onto the upper panels (A). Secure the upper bed frame to the upper panels using bolts (L), washers (K), and nuts (J). Tighten with the Allen wrench (M).

  5. Step 5: Install Guardrails

    Attach the guardrails (E) to the upper bed frame (D) using the designated fasteners (I). Ensure both guardrails are firmly attached to prevent falls.

  6. Step 6: Attach Ladder

    Hook the ladder (F) onto the side rail of the upper bed frame (D). Ensure the hooks are fully engaged and the ladder is stable.

  7. Step 7: Final Tightening and Caps

    Double-check all bolts and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Place the plastic caps (N) over any exposed bolt heads or open posts for a finished look and added safety.

5. Operasyon Enstriksyon

This bunk bed is designed for versatility and can be converted into two separate full-size beds. This feature allows the bed to adapt to changing needs over time.

Converting to Two Separate Beds:

  1. Remove the ladder (F) and guardrails (E).
  2. Carefully detach the upper bed frame (D) from the upper panels (A) by loosening the bolts.
  3. Remove the upper panels (A) from the connection posts (G).
  4. Remove the connection posts (G) from the lower bed frame.
  5. The upper bed frame (D) and lower bed frame (C) can now be used as two independent full-size beds. Attach the remaining caps (N) to any exposed posts on both beds.
