Konpozan kle:
- Inite Prensipal: The red housing containing the welding power source and wire feeder.
- Kontwòl Panel: Located on the front, featuring regulation knobs and switches.
- MIG Torch (TW160): For delivering welding wire and shielding gas (if applicable) to the weld area.
- Tè Clamp: For establishing an electrical connection to the workpiece.
- Wou ak manch: Pou portabilite.
Karakteristik panèl kontwòl:
- Bouton Règleman: Adjusts welding current/voltage settings (4 positions).
- GAS/NO GAS Switch: Selects between MIG-MAG (gas) and FLUX (no gas) welding modes.
- Pouvwa switch: Turns the welder on and off.
- Thermostatic Protection Indicator: Illuminates when the unit overheats, indicating a temporary shutdown.
3. Enstalasyon
Proper setup is crucial for safe and effective welding. Follow these steps carefully:
3.1 Koneksyon pouvwa
- Ensure the welder is connected to a single-phase 230 V, 50/60 Hz power supply.
- Verify that the power outlet is adequately fused (16 A recommended).
3.2 fil enstalasyon
Install the appropriate welding wire according to your material and welding process:
- Steel Welding Wire: 0.6 - 0.8 mm diameter.
- Stainless Steel Welding Wire: 0.8 mm dyamèt.
- Aluminum Welding Wire: 0.8 - 1 mm diameter.
- Flux-Cored Welding Wire: 0.8 - 1.2 mm diameter.
Follow the internal diagrams for correct wire feeding and tension adjustment.
3.3 Gas Connection (for MIG-MAG Welding)
- For MIG-MAG welding, connect the appropriate shielding gas cylinder to the welder's gas inlet.
- Asire w ke tout koneksyon gaz yo byen fèm epi pa gen flit.
- Set the GAS/NO GAS switch to the 'GAS' position.
3.4 Polarity Inversion (for FLUX Welding)
When using FLUX (no gas) wire, it is often necessary to invert the polarity of the torch. Refer to the internal wiring diagram or specific instructions for your flux-cored wire to ensure correct polarity for optimal welding performance and to avoid spatter.
- Set the GAS/NO GAS switch to the 'NO GAS' position.
3.5 Accessory Connection
- Connect the MIG torch (TW160) to the designated port on the front panel.
- Tache tè a clamp (Colorado 150B) to the workpiece, ensuring a clean, direct metal-to-metal contact for a good electrical circuit.
4. Operasyon Enstriksyon
Once the welder is properly set up, follow these steps for operation:
4.1 Limen
- Turn on the main power switch on the control panel.
4.2 Setting Welding Parameters
- Use the regulation knob to select one of the 4 available welding current/voltage positions. The optimal setting depends on the material thickness and wire diameter.
- Adjust wire feed speed as needed (usually controlled internally or via the torch trigger).
4.3 Welding Process
- Position the MIG torch at the starting point of the weld.
- Peze deklanche flanbo a pou kòmanse ark la ak alimenter fil la.
- Kenbe yon vitès deplasman ak yon ang flanbo konstan pou yon bouyon soude inifòm.
- Lage deklanche a pou sispann soude.
4.4 Thermostatic Protection
The welder is equipped with thermostatic protection. If the unit overheats due to prolonged use, the protection system will activate, and the indicator light will illuminate. The welder will automatically shut down until it cools to a safe operating temperature. Allow the unit to cool down before resuming operation.
5. Antretyen
Antretyen regilye asire lonjevite ak pèfòmans optimal soudeur ou a.
- Netwayaj: Periodically clean the exterior of the welder with a dry cloth. Ensure ventilation openings are free from dust and debris.
- Torch and Ground Clamp: Inspect the MIG torch and ground clamp for wear or damage. Replace consumables (contact tips, nozzles) as needed. Ensure the ground clamp makes good contact.
- Fil elektrik: Keep the wire feeder mechanism clean and free of dust or wire shavings. Check the wire guide and drive rollers for wear.
- Koneksyon: Regularly check all electrical and gas connections for tightness and integrity.
Always disconnect the welder from the power supply before performing any maintenance.
NAN. Depanaj
Seksyon sa a adrese pwoblèm komen ou ka rankontre pandan operasyon an.
- Pa gen pouvwa: Check the power cable, wall outlet, and the welder's main power switch. Ensure the fuse is not tripped.
- No Arc/Poor Arc:
- Asire tè a clamp byen tache ak pyès travay la epi li gen bon kontak elektrik.
- Check the contact tip for blockage or wear.
- Verify correct welding parameters (current/voltage) for the material and wire.
- For FLUX welding, ensure correct polarity. Incorrect polarity can lead to excessive spatter and poor weld quality.
- Wire Feeding Issues:
- Check wire spool for tangles or improper loading.
- Ensure drive rollers are clean and have adequate tension.
- Inspect the torch liner for blockages or kinks.
- Welder Shuts Down (Thermostatic Protection): Allow the unit to cool down. Ensure adequate ventilation around the welder. Reduce duty cycle if continuously welding for long periods.
If problems persist, consult a qualified service technician.
