Each filter is crafted with natural coconut shell carbon for optimal filtration and is recommended for replacement every 6 to 8 weeks.

Follow these steps to properly install your new PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Filter:
- Prepare filtè a: Before first use, rinse the new filter thoroughly under cold running water for 2-3 minutes. This removes any loose carbon particles and prepares the filter for optimal performance.

- Mete filtè a: Place the rinsed filter into the designated slot in the water station. Ensure it is seated firmly and correctly. If your water station has a small black cap on the reservoir lid, ensure it is open to allow proper water flow.
- Reassemble and Fill: Reattach the reservoir to the water station. Fill the reservoir with fresh water.
- Initial Flow: Allow a few minutes for the water to begin flowing into the bowl. If water does not flow immediately, gently jostle the reservoir to release any air bubbles.

- Retire ansyen filtè a: Detach the water reservoir from the station. Carefully remove the old filter from its compartment.
- Jete: Dispose of the used filter responsibly.
- Enstale nouvo filtè a: Follow the 'Setup Instructions' above to prepare and install a new filter.
Cleaning the Water Station
