The 3M Scotch-Weld 2216 Epoxy Adhesive is a flexible, two-part, gray epoxy adhesive designed for high-strength bonds with exceptional performance in shear and peel. This kit includes a 2 oz tube of Part A (Accelerator) and a 1.33 oz tube of Part B (Base).

3. Melanje: Thoroughly mix Part A and Part B until a uniform color is achieved. The contrasting colors of the components will help ensure complete mixing.
4. Work Life: Once mixed, the adhesive has a work life of approximately 120 minutes (2 hours). Plan your application accordingly.

Enstriksyon Operasyon

The 3M Scotch-Weld 2216 Epoxy Adhesive is designed to cure at room temperature, providing high-strength bonds.

1. Aplikasyon: Apply the thoroughly mixed adhesive to each surface you intend to bond. For highest strength, consider adding a few grains of fine particles (like sand) to ensure an adequate thickness of adhesive, especially for critical applications.
2. Liaison: Bring the prepared surfaces together and apply pressure. Clamp the parts together or apply weight to maintain contact during the curing process.
3. Geri: Allow the adhesive to cure for approximately 24 hours at room temperature to achieve full strength. Handling strength is typically achieved in about 10 hours.

This adhesive can be used to bond a wide range of materials including rubber, metal, wood, most plastics, and masonry products. It offers good environmental resistance and is excellent for cryogenic bonding applications.
